NRCT Leads Thai Inventors to The 5th Silicon Valley International Inventions Festival in the USA

The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), has led a delegation of inventors and researchers to showcase their inventions and innovations in the competition at The 5th Silicon Valley International Inventions Festival, held from August 14 – 16, 2026, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California, USA.

The 5th Silicon Valley International Inventions Festival (SVIIF) is a platform for competitions and presentations of works by inventors from various countries, organized by the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The event provides participants with the opportunity to build networks with investors and manufacturers in Silicon Valley. It features over 300 inventions from the public sector, private sector, universities, startups, SMEs, intellectual property partners, and various institutions across more than 30 countries. The NRCT serves as the designated Exclusive Agency from Thailand, appointed by the international organization IFIA, to bring inventions and innovations to compete at the SVIIF on behalf of Thailand.

For the 2026 event, the NRCT has brought inventions, research works, and innovations from Thailand to be presented and to compete at "The 5th Silicon Valley International Inventions Festival" in various categories, which include:

  • Agriculture – Forestry and Garden – Pet and Farm Animal Supplies
  • Security – Rescue – Alarm
  • Paramedical - Health - Foodstuffs - Drinks – Cosmetics
  • Building – Architecture – Civil Engineering – Construction – Materials – Woodwork
  • Teaching Research – Pedagogical Items
  • Medical Technology – Medical Engineering – Medicine – Hygiene
  • Energy - Renewable and green energy
  • Commercial, Industrial and Office Equipment

Hardware - Software - Cybersecurity - Blockchain - Internet of things (IoT)
