Congratulations to Thai Inventors on Receiving the NRCT Special Award at The 9th China (Shanghai) International Invention & Innovation Expo 2026
 

The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), presented the NRCT Special Award Competition to outstanding Thai inventors and innovators participating in the 9th China (Shanghai) International Invention & Innovation Expo 2026, held from 11–13 June 2026 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, Shanghai, People’s Republic of China.

A total of 60 outstanding inventions and innovations were selected to receive the NRCT Special Award at this year’s event. The award-winning projects included:

BrewNutrient: Plant Nutrients Derived from Brewery Industry Waste
by Petcharin Charoenrat and team, Chulalongkorn University

ChitoBoost+: Nanochitin Innovation for Saltiness Enhancement and Sodium Reduction in Food Seasonings

These award-winning projects represent only a selection of the more than 60 outstanding innovations recognized by NRCT during the event. The awards highlight the creativity, research excellence, and innovation capabilities of Thai inventors and researchers, while promoting international recognition of Thai scientific and technological achievements.
