This year, teams of inventors from various countries have brought more than 300 inventions to compete in SVIIF 2026. Committee members from several nations joined the Jury Meeting to review the evaluation process for the works participating in the competition at The 5th Silicon Valley International Inventions Festival (SVIIF) 2026. Mr. John Calvert, President of the Jury for SVIIF 2026, chaired the meeting, which featured high-ranking executives from international countries serving as judges, including representatives from the USA, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Iceland, Hong Kong, Croatia, Brazil, and Thailand. The meeting was organized to establish a mutual understanding of the evaluation guidelines for awarding prizes based on the specified criteria across various categories, to set the evaluation schedule, and to discuss other matters related to the assessment process and the overall event.
Dr. Wiparat De-ong, Executive Director of the NRCT, expressed her gratitude to the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), the event organizer, for inviting the NRCT to participate in this year's meeting to review the judging criteria and procedures. She also spoke about leading the inventors attending the event on behalf of Thailand. This year, the NRCT has brought a delegation of Thai inventors and researchers from various institutions to compete in the exhibition. The NRCT hopes that leading the Thai inventors and researchers in this competition will create opportunities for them to exchange ideas, engage in discussions, and generate commercial opportunities for Thai inventions and innovations on an international scale.
