Rivers) Using Numerical Models and Radar Datasets, Extreme Rainfall Prediction in Malaysia
and Thailand, Innovative Approaches to Saltwater Intrusion Forecasting in Vietnam and
Thailand, and Water Adaptation Strategies to Climate Change in Japan.
These topics were presented during an online seminar held on 27–28 May 2026,
organized by the Water Security Research Program, the National Research Council of Thailand
(NRCT), and the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University.
The seminar brought together experts and researchers to share knowledge and
experiences on water-related challenges, advanced forecasting technologies, and climate
adaptation strategies across the Asia-Pacific region.
