The Faculty of Public Health at Thammasat University, Rangsit Center, has received research funding from the National Research Council of Thailand to establish the “Hub of Talents on Air Pollution and Climate” (HTAPC).

The Hub of Talents will create an electronic database (E-Roster/E-Directory) listing experts both domestically and internationally in the fields of air pollution and climate change.

The Center of Excellence on Environmental Health and Toxicology (EHT) consists of 3 participating universities whose researchers have expertise in various related fields.

Work carried out by the Center of Excellence on Environmental Health and Toxicology (EHT): The focus of the research carried out by the Center of Excellence is in environmental health and chemical safety. This includes the development of chemicals for increased benefits to society and industry towards development of the nation, as well as the study of the toxic effects of chemicals that are being used for this development. Examples of the study of the impacts of chemicals on the environment and human health include: the study of genotoxic air pollutants resulting from the incomplete combustion of fossil fuels, which are one important risk factor for the development of cancer; the study of the pathophysiology of disease in humans, from the early biological changes to disease manifestation; the development of new technologies that are more environmentally-friendly; the assessment of risk from chemically-related occupational exposures in industrial settings; and the contamination of food and water with chemicals that are used to increase agricultural yield, e.g. pesticides.

The Hub of Talents : Sustainable Materials for Circular Economy is a pioneering project led by PETROMAT, the largest research community in Petrochemical and Materials Technology in Thailand, consisting of 11 institutes across 9 universities. With over 20 years of experiences, PETROMAT has been nurturing young researchers and conducting impactful researches. Over the years, we have successfully translated our researches into practical applications, scaling them up for industrial and commercial uses. Through our intentions and innovations, we have provided valuable solutions that benefit public and society at large.

The Center of Excellence for Hazardous Substance and Waste Management (CEHSWM) received research funding from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) under the Hub of Talent project since fiscal year 2023 to establish the "Hub of Waste Management for Sustainable Development (WMS-HUB)".

Established in 2023 by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and coordinated by the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE), the Hub of Talents to Support Net Zero GHG Emissions is dedicated to guiding Thailand towards carbon neutrality by 2050 and achieving net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2065. This initiative is designed to drive the transition of energy and economic systems to low carbon solutions, ultimately meeting and sustaining the nation’s carbon neutrality and net zero GHG emissions goals.

The Earthquake Research Center of Thailand was established to serve as an independent research hub, integrating data and fostering academic collaboration at both national and international levels. The Center provides a platform for experts to work together, exchange knowledge, and develop research that can be translated into practical applications.

Our goal is to transform earthquake knowledge into action, strengthening public safety and enhancing Thailand's long-term resilience.
